Aconitum henryi 'Spark's Variety’ est une grande plante vivace, qui forme des grandes feuilles vert foncé, très divisées, durant l'été. La plante porte des lances de fleurs encapuchonnées, bleu violacé en pleine été. Les fleurs font penser au capuchon de Moine. Soutenir la tige au début d'été s'ils deviennent trop grands. Superbe fleur coupée. Placement: Soleil ou mi-ombre, en terre riche. Eviter de les planter autour des racines d'arbres. Attention: Les racines sont toxiques.

Aconitum henryi 'Spark's Variety’ often known as Monk’s hood, is an tall upright herbaceous perennial, which forms large clumps of deeply cut dark green leaves. The plant bears spikes of a purple/blue hooded flowers in mid-summer, which may need staking in the early summer if they become too tall. Fantastic at the back of a border or in the cut flower garden. Best placement would be east facing in a site that will not dry out and away from thirsty tree roots, and protected from very hot afternoon sun. CAUTION: toxic root if eaten.
