Yellow Trumpet Creeper, a perennial deciduous vine, has 3-inch long, striking, trumpet-shaped, peachy yellow colored flowers in mid to late summer followed by decorative pods in the fall. It takes sun and any soil. It is a very strong grower, and is a great choice for adorning a fence or trellis.

Until the plant has fully established, the shoots need to be trained and tied to a trellis or framework of horizontal wires. In February or March prune the sideshoots to within three or four buds of the permanent framework of the plant.
