Belle pomme aplatie d’un vert franc, pied court. Gros rendement.
Semis
Semer très clair en pleine terre en pépinière, en rangs distants de 15 cm à 2 cm de profondeur.
Opérations en culture
Repiquer en place en Mai/Juillet à 50/60 cm en tous sens. Arroser et biner régulièrement. Buter progressivement les pieds.
Récolte
Récolter 5 à 6 mois après le semis.
Astuces
La capucine, le basilic, le céleri branche, la ciboulette, la sauge et le thym éloignent la piéride du chou.

Description
An old variety of cabbage that dates back to 1924 that is perfectly suited to cold weather and should produce well through to the winter providing good fresh vegetables for the Christmas table.
Sowing instructions
Sow from March to June either in a seed bed or tray.
Growing technique
Prick out seedlings when they have reached second or third adult leaves and plant in rows 50-60cm apart. Make sure you water sufficiently when transferring the seedlings into their new location. Water and weed regularly. Earth up the foot of the cabbage if required.
Harvesting
Harvest after about 5-6 month.

Companion plant alongside Nasturtiums, Basil, Thyme, Chives or sage to keep your cabbages safe from the cabbage white (butterfly)
