Variété à fruit vert très pâle, marqué de blanc et à fruit court.

Semis

Semer : 1. En Mars/Avril, en godets décomposables 3 à 4 graines par pot, à mettre sous châssis. OU 2- En Mai en pleine terre, par groupe de 3 à 4 graines directement dans les poquets préparés. Levée 6 à 8 jours.

Opérations en culture

Repiquer en place en Mai dans les poquets. Bien arroser pour favoriser la reprise. Arroser fréquemment et entretenir la fraîcheur du sol par un paillage.

Récolte

Cueillir régulièrement les fruits et ne pas les laisser grossir afin de ne pas épuiser la plante.

Description

A shorter courgette variety that is pale green in colour Very easy and fast to grow good for introducing children to growing food as this variety has a nice pizza recipe on the packet.

Sowing instructions

Sow directly into seed pots between March and April. When the temperature has reached 20degs they can be planted directly in the ground.

Growing technique

When the seedlings are ready transplant to their growing location making sure you give the plant a good 1.5m of space to grow in all directions. Water and weed regularly. Place some mulch or straw under the growing fruits to prevent them rotting off.

Harvesting

Start harvesting from July and keep picking the fruit to encourage more to grow.

Other Advice

If you have planted in the ground raise the branches off the soil and onto straw or mulch to prevent the fruit from rotting off and to keep it clean.
