Fruits à récolter en été.

C'est le dernière des framboises fruitières d'été. Le goût est bon, la texture est ferme et la croissance est vigoureuse. Bon résistance aux maladies.

Plantez les cannes espacées de 45 cm  avec 1,8 m entre les rangées.
Évitez de planter les jeunes cannes trop profondément, une hauteur de 7.5cm au-dessus des racines est suffisante.
Coupez les cannes vers le bas à 23cm au-dessus du sol juste après la plantation (pour les cannes à racines nues seulement).
Les jeunes cannes doivent être attachées sur un fil.
Après la récolte réduisez au niveau du sol les cannes qui ont porté des fruits.

Racine nue disponible de fin octobre à fin mars.

Summer fruiting

This is the last of the summer fruiting raspberries. The taste is good and quite tangy. Texture is firm and growth is vigorous. Has good aphid resistance. A very good garden variety. Plant canes 18 inches apart. Fruits on the previous year's cane which must be tied up to support the crop.

Plant the canes about 18” (45 cm) apart with 6 ft (1.8 m) between the rows. Avoid planting the young canes too deeply; a covering of 3” (7.5 cms) over the roots is ample. Cut the canes down to 9” (23 cms) above the soil immediately after planting (bare root canes only). In the spring when the new shoots appear from beneath the soil the 9” stub should be cut away. The young canes are tied into a wire fence system for cropping the following season. Subsequently all canes which have fruited are cut out at ground level immediately after fruiting.

Bare root available from end of October to the end of March only.

Harvest from about July.
