Grand arbuste légèrement retombant, idéal a l’arrière d’un massif. Les fleurs sont assez grandes, en rosettes bien ordonnées d’un joli abricot orangé. Il est particulièrement robuste et sain et pourrait pousser sans problème sous le climat suédois. Son parfum est fort et fruité, comme celui des Rosiers Thé.

La Princesse Royale Margareta de Suède était la petite-fille de la Reine Victoria, et une jardinière accomplie, qui avec le Roi Gustave VI Adolfe de Suède, créa le célèbre Palais d’Eté de Sofiero à Helsingborg.

Rosa Crown Princess Margareta

A tall, slightly arching shrub which is ideal for the back of the border. The flowers are quite large, neatly-formed rosettes of a lovely apricot-orange. It is one of the Leander group and we think it should thrive even under more rigorous conditions.

Crown Princess Margareta of Sweden was the granddaughter of Queen Victoria and was an accomplished landscape gardener who, together with the Crown Prince (later, King Gustavus VI Adolfus of Sweden), created the famous Swedish Summer Palace of Sofiero in Helsingborg.

Bare root roses are available from October (week 41) through to March. Some varieties do sell out due to popularity.
