Rosier Eglantyne

L’une de nos plus belles roses. Les fleurs d’un ton rosé doux, sont parfaitement formées. Le bord incurvé des pétales donne une forme de coupelle. Végétation idéale, de hauteur moyenne, buissonnante et ramifiée avec un beau feuillage. Bien résistant aux maladies, il s’agit à tout point de vue d’un excellent rosier de jardin. Senteurs douces et délicates de rose ancienne.

Rosa Eglantyne

David Austin regards the rose Eglantyne as one of the most beautiful of the English Roses. The flowers are quite large and of exquisite formation - the petals turning up at the edges to form a shallow saucer filled with small petals. The growth is ideal, being of medium height and bushy, with nice foliage and little disease, making it in every way an excellent garden plant.

It is sweetly fragrant - a charming and delicate Old Rose scent.

Named after Eglantyne Jebb, the Shropshire woman who founded the ‘Save the Children’ charity fund.

Available from April through to October. Some varieties do sell out due to popularity.
