Instructions pour le semis

Semer début printemps à début été à l'extérieur en place. Bien travailler le sol et préparer un lit de semis fin. Semer à 12mm de profondeur en rangs écartés de 45cm. Préfèrent une situation ensoleillée mais s'adaptent à la plupart des situations et des sols. Pour des fleurs vraiment géantes, semer à l'extérieur en fin hiver/début printemps, individuellement en pot de 7,5cm à une température de 15-18 C°. Cultiver en situation lumineuse, acclimater progressivement et planter après tout risque de gel.

Description

Boldly contrasting, big creamy white flowers with deep chocolate centres. Excellent for flower arranging and great at back of borders or against a tall wall where they provide atmosphere and contrast.

Sowing Instructions

Sow March to May thinly, 12mm  deep in drills 30cm apart in well cultivated soil raked to a fine tilth. Germination usually takes around 21 days. Alternatively, you can sow indoors in late winter/early spring for earlier flowering. Sow individually into 7.5cm pots at 20-30C. When well grown, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out after all risk of frost.

Aftercare

Prefers a well drained soil in full sun.
